How the LoneBuddy check-in works
Choose a Buddy, start a timed check-in and confirm you are safe before the timer expires. If you miss the check-in, LoneBuddy can send an SMS alert from your device to your chosen Buddy. SMS delivery depends on your phone, permissions, mobile service and signal.
Privacy without constant tracking
LoneBuddy is designed around local-first safety information and does not operate a cloud location-history service. It is a supplementary safety tool, not an emergency service or a guarantee of message delivery or response.
